MRV Metals is a fully owned subsidiary of ASX listed Moreton Resources Limited. The company is rapidly moving into operations post Mining Lease grant, and is expected to reach full operations in our processing areas within the next two months, followed by commissioning of our major crusher refurbishment in March and rounded out by mobilisation and mining commencement, in April 2018. We therefore seek a highly skilled, energetic and dedicated team of mining professionals to fulfill a range of vacancies across the organisation.

The town of Texas is perched on the banks of the peaceful Dumaresq River, within close proximity to the major regional towns of Goondiwindi, Stanthopre and Warwick. It is a well serviced community of approx. 1,100 people with modern medical, schooling and business facilities which relies predominantly upon the agricultural industries. Within the region you will find excellent fishing, great camping spots and the serenity of rural landscapes that make this location a family friendly and hospitable community, with strong support for the MRV Metals project, throughout the township and surrounds.

We currently have the following vacancies:

Mine/Crushing Superintendent As the mine/crushing superintendent you will have the following key accountabilities:

• Initial oversight of the contracting/procurement and delivery functions of a major refurbishment of the crushing and screening area on site.

• Determination upon contract / owner operator mining activities including scopes, costings, contract awards and/or fleet selection and mobilization.

• Oversight and Management of the day to day Mining and Crushing functions to ensure production targets are achieved in the most cost effective means whilst being uncompromising on safety.

• Be the appointed Senior Site Executive for the operations upon site whilst the General Manager is on extended leave.

• Ensure robust data capture, analysis and operating parameters are monitored to understand trends and put corrective actions in place where required.

• Ensure that Plant and Equipment is operated to achieve maximum efficiency and implement strategies to continually refine and improve performance.

• Develop and implement effective communications with well-defined accountabilities between the wider site team.

• Implementation of weekly and monthly plans and follow up with reporting and variance intervention and rectification.

• Develop and manage the monthly and yearly planning budgets and output forecasting, including month by month variance reporting.

• Management of contractors/business partners to minimise cost exposure to the company whilst ensuring production and quality targets are met

Mine/Crushing Supervisor As the Mine/Crushing supervisor you will have the following key accountabilities:

• Assist the entire operations team in the yearly and quarterly planning, that will then flow into the monthly, weekly and daily focus that will be the key outcomes of these roles
.
• Assist, lead and set the safety agenda for the site, and continue through open communication, challenging and coaching of our staff, to ensure a robust and effective health and safety regime that is based upon a behavioural safety culture.

• Seek to work collaboratively with your peers, in the monthly, weekly and daily deliverables across all shifts to ensure operational targets and demands are met.

• Ensure a commitment to our people, environment and achievement is reflected shift by shift, and we hold our people to account for delivery, which in turn will build a culture of success.

• Ensure robust data capture, analysis and operating parameters are monitored to understand trends and put corrective actions in place where required.

• Ensure that Plant and Equipment is operated to achieve maximum efficiency and implement strategies to continually refine and improve performance.

• Understand and emphasis a culture of maintained, planning and training to ensure effective operations.

• Develop and implement effective communications with well-defined accountabilities between the wider site team.

• Implementation of weekly and monthly plans and follow up with reporting and variance intervention and rectification.

Heavy Vehicle Mechanic As a HV Mechanic you will be responsible for working across our fleet of heavy vehicles including Loaders, Graders, Dump Truck and excavators.

You will be trade qualified and have previous experience in heavy vehicle mechanics.

This position is working on a rotational roster, Monday to Friday, 12 hours shifts. Remuneration starts from: $94,000 including Superannuation.

Heavy Vehicle Apprentice Mechanic As an HV Mechanic apprentice, you will complete a four year apprenticeship program, which will provide you will essential experience, skills and knowledge to achieve a nationally recognised qualification in Certificate III in Heavy Diesel Mechanic.

This position is working on a rotational roster, Monday to Friday, 12 hours shifts. Remuneration starts from: $43,000 including Superannuation (dependent on experience).

Trainee Operators We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Trainees to join the team to work across our operations whilst learning how to operate mining plant and equipment.

These are entry level positions enabling the candidate to learn and develop new skills and knowledge whilst completing a Cert II in Surface Extraction Operations.

This position is working on a rotational roster, 4 Days, 4 Nights, 4 Off, 12 hours shifts. Remuneration starts from: $56,000 including Superannuation (dependent on experience).
